HUR HERALD CANNOT UPDATE - Frontier "Broadband" Services Falters

(03/28/2011)
Because of Frontier Internet problems, their so-called broadband high-speed service, has fallen below minimal standards to update stories/photos or even receive e-mails, the Herald cannot update.

The problem started last Thursday.

"The problem has been upgraded from a common cause to a larger scale issue...crews have been working seven-days a week for two months in your area," says Frontier.

Several local and regional Frontier customers are driving out-of-county to access broadband to conduct their business operations.

The Hur Herald cannot update until the problem is resolved.

The Internet speed is so bad, the site to check the Internet speed will not load.

With rural residents of WV being charged for sub-standard "high-speed" broadband services, the Herald will be launching a campaign for Frontier customers, urging them to ask for refunds, and to further petition that broadband providers be held to some kind of measurable standard if they are conducting business in WV.
