Charles E. "Jack" Shouldis, 81 - Gandeeville

Charles E. "Jack" Shouldis, 81, of Gandeeville, West Virginia, passed away March 21, 2011, after a long illness.

He was born July 29, 1929, at Flat Fork, Roane County, a son of the late Fred Shouldis and Macie Parsons.

He was a retired Roane County school bus driver and farmer.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Martha Bell Shouldis; a son, David Shouldis of Gandeeville; and daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Mark Richards of Spencer WV; grandson and wife, David and Christy Shouldis; and granddaughter and husband, Sara and Michael Anderson of Gandeeville; and grandson, Brodie and granddaughter, Kylie Richards of Spencer; great grandsons, Lucas and Dawson Shouldis and Triton Anderson of Gandeeville; brothers, Burton, Sherman and Eugene Parsons; sisters, Emogene DeWees, Geraldine Deweese and Verla Myers.

He was also preceded in death by an infant son, Danny Shouldis, and brothers, Carl Leo Shouldis and Kenneth Parsons.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 24, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Garry L. Bowen officiating. Burial will be in the Ferrell Cemetery, Vicars Ridge, Gandeeville.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
