Patricia D. Stewart, 78 - Spencer

Patricia D. Stewart, 78, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Sunday, March 20, 2011, in CAMC-Memorial Hospital, Charleston.

She was born November 14, 1932, at Huntington WV, a daughter of the late Ennis and Ora Isaac Browning.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Stewart in 1997; and a brother, Lindy.

She had worked as a clerk for the W. T. Grant Stores in Huntington and Ravenswood. She was a graduate of Huntington East High School and a member of the Faith Baptist Church, Spencer.

Survivors include a daughter, Susan Gump and her husband Terry; son, John Mark Stewart; two grandsons, Josh Gump and Seth Gump and their families all of Spencer; two great granddaughters, Addie and Sage; one grandson due to be born on May 2; and five sisters, Imogene, Maxine, Phyllis, Rosemary, and Eloise.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. in the Faith Baptist Church, Spencer, with Rev. Wayne McGlothlin officiating. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Eventide Cemetery, Spencer.

Memorial contributions are preferred to the Faith Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 483, Spencer, WV, 25276.

Arrangements are entrusted to the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer.
