BURNSVILLE LAKE STILL CLOSED TO BOATERS

(03/14/2011)
Burnsville Lake remains closed to boating while a damaged water line is undergoing repairs.

The lake has been closed to boating since December.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers says recent rains have delayed the repairs and the re-opening.

Boaters damaged the water line several times in the past year. The line supplies water to residents in the Falls Mill area and to the Bulltown campground.

The lake will likely reopen by the end of March.
