William James Murvine, 57 - Smithville

William James Murvine, 57, of Smithville, West Virginia, died March 8, 2011 at United Hospital Center, Bridgeport WV.

He was born November 8, 1953, the son of George and Betty Jean Cole Gragg.

William had been an oil field worker for Triple E Services for 40 years. He was a former member of Burnt House Lodge I.O.O.F. and was a Methodist by faith. His life centered around his work and grandkids.

He is survived by his wife, Roberta Ann Ratliff Murvine; daughters, Alicia Shannon Murvine Frey (Jason) of Weston WV, and Jesse Nicole "Nicki" Murvine Dennison (Bill) of Burnt House WV; grandchildren, Haylie Jean Dennison, Dillon Waitman Dennison, and Rozalynne Faith Frey; brother, Keith Cole of Cox's Mill WV; sister, Kim Gragg Tichnell of Smithville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by one grandson, Lundyn Lee Frey.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, March 12 at Raiguel Funeral Home in Harrisville WV. Burial will be in the New Mt. Olive Cemetery at Burnt House.

Friends may call at the funeral home fromm 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. service.
