Franklin Delano Counts, 74 - Spencer

Franklin Delano Counts, 74, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011, in the Miletree Center, Spencer.

He was born January 21, 1937, at Spencer, a son of the late Oscar H. and Esther Kendall Counts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Frances Jackson; and an infant brother and sister.

Frank was a retired farmer, cattleman and a Baptist.

Survivors include a sister, Mary L. Sinnett of Spencer; a brother and sister-in-law, Oscar H. and Linda Counts, Jr. of LeRoy; a brother-in-law, Tommy A. Jackson of Spencer; nephews and nieces, Russell Stump, Allen Stump, Tommy K. Jackson, Tammy Reynolds, and Sheryl Kelley; several great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 4, in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Pastor Russell Stump and Pastor Allen Stump officiating. Burial will be in the Eventide Cemetery, Spencer.

Friends may call Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
