The hospital's new name is Camden Clark Medical Center.

The deal involved the sale of St. Joseph's to Camden-Clark and their consolidation under the West Virginia United Health System, the new owner, based in Morgantown.

"The legacy of both institutions can be one of a medical center offering a broad array of services," says Mike King, CEO of the Camden Clark Medical Center, "and dispel that old, in-your-face, constantly fighting. And I know everybody at both hospitals is thrilled to get rid of that old image."
