Arlie M. Roberts, 94 - Lander, Wyoming

Arlie M. Roberts, 94 of Lander, Wyoming, died Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Poplar Living Center in Casper WY.

He was born February 17, 1916 at Hur, West Virginia, a son of the late James and Melinda Roberts. He attended and graduated from school in Grantsville WV.

He had lived in Lander since 1960, where he worked for US Steel until his retirement.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and being outdoors. He liked to travel and took his grandchildren with him on many occasions. He also loved to dance.

He is survived by the mother of his children and ex-wife, Barbara Roberts; a daughter, Sandra Doyle and her husband Pat of Ogden UT; a son, Dale Roberts and his wife Gladys of Casper WY; a daughter-in-law, Debbie Rick of Breckenridge MN; his grandchildren, Danny, Jenny, Lisa and her husband Christopher, Krystal, Chelsea, Amanda, Holly, Jackie, and Maggie; numerous great grandchildren; two brothers, Denver Roberts and his wife Paula of Grantsville WV, Bobby Roberts and his wife Faye; one sister, Patty and her husband Bernard.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Lee; brothers, Ted, Oran, and Bill; and sisters, Evelyn, Edna, and Tessie.

A memorial service was held for Mr. Roberts on February 19 at Kingdom Hall in Lander.
