| Daniel (Jack) Butler, 66 of Windham, Ohio, formerly of Beech Community, Arnoldsburg WV, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at his home after a long, courageous, 2 year battle with cancer. He was born in West Virginia, July 7, 1944 to the late Donzel and Lillie Falls Butler. He was a former employee of Spancrete and North American Precast. He enjoyed hunting with his brothers and nephews, four-wheeler riding and the outdoors. He was married to the love of his life, Alice (Roosa) Butler on April 11, 1966. He is survived by his wife Alice, his goddaughter, Misti (Kevin) Goldsboro and their children, Daniel and Cody; sisters, Marie Burrows of Newton Falls OH, Pauline Drake and Faye Nichols both of Spencer WV, Peggie Hall of Orma WV, Carolyn Stutzman and Sharon Rucker both of Wooster OH and Geneva Rinehart of Follansbee WV; brothers, Grover Butler of Spencer, Clarence, Paul, Frank and Kenneth Butler all of Orma, and Bob Butler of Follansbee; also, his best friend and little girl, Sassy; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, February 26 at Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg. Rev. Rick Metheney will officiate. Interment will be in the Bailey Cemetery at Beech. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. saturday until time of services. |
