William Riley McCumbers, 73 - Rosedale

William Riley McCumbers, 73, of Rosedale, West Virginia, passed away February 19, 2011 at Braxton Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. Born in Braxton County, he was a son of the late Noah and Mary Starcher McCumbers. He was a US Air Force veteran and was a retired electrician. Surviving are two sons, Thomas S. McCumbers of Sutton WV and William R. McCumbers of Lee Center NY; two daughters, Patricia McCumbers of Sutton and Evelyn Price of Headland AL; eight brothers, Willard McCumbers of FL, Gene and Roy McCumbers both of Gassaway WV, Clarence McCumbers of Akron OH, Gary, Paul and Ricky McCumbers all of Rosedale; Charles McCumbers of Wilsie WV; one sister, Betty McCumbers of Rosedale; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 23 at Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg. Interment will be in the Fox Lick Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of services.
