Minnie Hamilton Health System is pleased to announce they have received a $15,000 grant from Carelink, Partners in Health Network program to purchase equipment and promote healthy lifestyles.

With this grant, Minnie Hamilton is pleased to offer to the community a free ZUMBA workout.

Community members are invited to participate in a monthly ZUMBA class with instructor Lisa Hickman-Walker, beginning Saturday, March 5 at Calhoun County Middle-High School. Participants will be given the option to weigh-in and be provided with educational materials.

Water and healthy snacks will be provided by Change the Future WV, a program of the Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department.

Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. with ZUMBA starting around 9:30. The class will last one hour with the goal of having fun while getting-in some exercise.

Participants will be encouraged to work at their own pace and everyone is welcome.

Other agencies participating include Calhoun County Family Resource Network and DREAM. For more information on this free opportunity, please contact Barb McKown at 304-354-9244 ext 1235.
