Thomas Leo Paquette, 70 - Waverly

Thomas Leo Paquette, 70, of Waverly, West Virginia, passed away quietly at St. Joseph's Hospital, Thursday, February 17, 2011 after a brief illness. He is sadly missed by his family and friends.

He was born in Providence, Rhode Island July 19, 1940, the son of the late Norman and Catherine Paquette of Sandwich, Massachusetts. He was retired from Pinkerton Security in 2002. He loved spending his retirement with family and friends. He loved to hunt, enjoyed tinkering with his cars and working around the house. He looked forward to coffee and conversation every morning with two of his cherished friends and neighbors, Blen Tennant, Jr. and Kenny Harris.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Judy McCumbers Paquette, also of Waverly; one daughter, Katherine Elaine Shepard and husband Kamron, of Fountain, Colorado; two sons, Joseph Harold Paquette of Radford, Virginia, and Thomas Norman Paquette, of Warsaw, Indiana; one sister and brother-in-law, Georgeanna and John Friel of Sandwich; two grandchildren, Jason D'Anjou of Manchester, New Hampshire and Suzanna Paquette of Elkhart, Indiana.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Paquette.

Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, February 20 at Pisgah Cemetery, Garfield Road WV, with Rev. Danny Schreckengost officiating.
