CALHOUN MAN FACING SEXUAL ABUSE CHARGES AGAINST 13-YEAR-OLD ROSEDALE GIRL

Richard Lee Siers, 42, of Nicut, is incarcerated in Central Regional Jail, after being charged with 11 counts of sexual assault in the third degree in Gilmer County. The case will likely be presented to a Gilmer County grand jury on March 8. A criminal complaint says Siers committed sexual assault on a 13-year-old female living in the Rosedale community. The complaint says Siers admitted he committed the offenses on 11 occasions. The offenses happened between October and November, 2010. Bond was originally posted at $100,000.
