WV GASOLINE PRICES SPIKE 8 CENTS IN A WEEK

(02/10/2011)
Once again gas prices have jumped in the span of a week.

Triple-A says West Virginians are paying an average of 7.4 cents more a gallon this week than they did last week.

Regular unleaded gas in West Virginia is between $3.12-$3.30.

While most oil companies are no longer giving reasons for price increases, some speculators say the increase is related to the turmoil in Egypt threatening the Suez Canal, although there has been no disruption.
