Friday Blaine King and Jake Settles drove me to Big Otter, to meet my son-in-law, Ben. He works in Charleston that day and I'm able to ride with him home to Nettie to visit. Thanks Blaine.

Heather has been really sick and is on antibiotics, the back of her throat is really red and her uvula is swollen. I'm very happy to be with her, help her, and care for the girls. Ben and his friend Dave cut wood and hauled it to the shed most of the day Saturday.

The snow is still well on the ground and it's cold. Saturday evening Ben started an outside fire by the wood burning furnace. We sat out for a little while. Ben called it his tailgate party. He called friends on the phone and talked about who would win the Super Bowl. We then had supper and watched the game. It was a close game. I thought the Packers would lose at the end but they didn't. Good game.

Monday is a gloomy day and it's going to get worse tomorrow on Tuesday. I'm not sure which day this week I'll be coming home.

Hope all are well and have a wonderful week!
