Barbara Lee Miller, 78, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Sunday, February 6, 2011, in Roane General Hospital, Spencer. She was born December 13, 1932, at Charleston WV, a daughter of the late James Ivory and Minnie Lilly Thomas Fisher. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Romeo V. Miller, Jr.; brother, James Fisher; and sister, Dee Youngier. She was a former employee of the Interstate Manufacturing Company, Spencer, Roane General Hospital, and the Roane County Sheriff's office under Roland "Tub" McCulty's term. She had also volunteered as a member of the Roane General Hospital Auxiliary. Surviving relatives include sons, Gerry Woods of Charleston, and Gregory Woods of Spencer; granddaughter, Kayla Woods, and step granddaughter, Bridget Ash; sisters, Alma Bailey of Michigan, Okla Anderson of Sissonville WV, and Arlene Carper of Florida. There will be no service or visitation. Contributions are preferred to the Roane County Animal Shelter, 2550 Parkersburg Road, Spencer, WV 25276.
