| Cathy Sue Nolan, age 62 of Beverly Drive, Glenville, West Virginia, departed this life at 3:00 p.m., Friday, February 4, 2011 at the home of her mother. Cathy was born July 17, 1948 in Gilmer County, daughter of Anna Ruth Edwards Montgomery of Beverly Drive, Glenville and the late Corbett Montgomery. She was a graduate of Gilmer County High School Class of 1966 and attended Glenville State College. Cathy retired from Glenville State College Business Office in January of 2010 after 27 years of service. She had been recorder for the town of Glenville for 10 years and was a former employee of Social Services in Ritchie County. She loved to read and embroidery. She loved her family and especially being a grandmother to Destiney Nichole. She was a member of the Glenville Church of Christ. On June 29, 1968 she was united in marriage to John Nolan who preceded her in death June 10, 2003. In addition to her mother she is survived by one son, Mitchell Ryan Nolan, wife Cathy Ann and granddaughter Destiney Nichole all of Beverly Dr. Glenville; one sister, Jolane Westfall and husband Larry of Weston WV; two stepbrothers and two stepsisters, Fred Montgomery and wife Marlyn of Glenville, Dwight Montgomery of Glenville, Carolyn McCauley and husband Lawrence of Mansfield OH and Debbie Roberts and husband Mike of Frametown WV. A host of nieces and nephews survive. In addition to her father, Corbett Montgomery in 1978 she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Earnest Montgomery in 1998. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 8, at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc. Glenville with Rev. Gene Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Meadow Lane Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday, at the Mortuary. Ellyson Mortuary, Inc. Glenville is assisting the family of Cathy Nolan with arrangements.
