ROANE GRAND JURY INDICTS MAN FOR GRUESOME MURDER

A Roane County grand jury has indicted a Mason County man for the alleged gruesome murder of Kenneth Glen Boggs, 44, of Spencer in January, 2010.

Greg D. Leach, 21, who has been incarcerated in Central Regional Jail, was indicted for Boggs' murder and second-degree sexual assault.

The murder took place in Boggs' apartment with several individuals present, police say that Leach brutally attacked, beat and sodomized Boggs with a soft drink bottle, during an ordeal that lasted several hours.

The grand jury indicted 22 individuals, including brothers Adam, 23, and Jacob Seen, 22, in connection to downloading, distribution and exhibiting child pornography.

Five people were indicated for operating a meth lab, among a half-dozen others on drug related charges.

A Roane County magistrate found Karen King of Orma guilty of obtaining money, goods or property by false pretenses, in addition to Rocky Dale Ellison of Chloe, found guilty of possession of less than 15 grams of marijuana.
