Vehicle crashes into Sand Ridge 3:20 PM - Calhoun County OES is advising roads conditions are worsening please limit travel to emergencies only. Multiple car crashes have been reported Wednesday morning in Calhoun, one on Sand Ridge where a vehicle crashed into a garage and another on Liberty Hill, while other vehicles were reported in the ditch. The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow which is in effect until 7 am EST Thursday. - Rain and snow changing to all snow. - Accumulations 2 to 4 inches of snow. - Other areas of WV are receiving much higher amounts of snow. - Timing - rain and snow are expected Wednesday morning, changing to all snow by Wednesday afternoon. The heaviest snow will occur Wednesday evening into the nighttime hours.
