MAN INJURED IN ATV ROLL-OVER ON STUTLER RIDGE - Life-Flighted To CAMC

A Calhoun man was injured shortly before noon Tuesday on Stutler Ridge, between State Rt. 5 and Little Creek, when his ATV wrecked while he was pulling a drum on a trailer.

Tim Carpenter, 52, who lives on Stutler Ridge, was life-flighted by HealthNet to Charleston Area Medical Center, family members said he suffered a broken collarbone and dislocated shoulder.

Carpenter is employed by Alliance Petroleum.

A 17-year-old high school student was reportedly injured at Calhoun Middle-High School at 11:59 a.m. Tuesday and was taken to Minnie Hamilton Health System in Grantsville for evaluation and treatment.
