CALHOUN BANKS EMPLOYEE ARRESTED FOR STEALING FROM ACCOUNTS

A Braxton County woman was arrested Thursday after she allegedly took money from three accounts at Calhoun Banks in Glenville.

Florence Parker, 27, of Gassaway, is facing three counts of embezzlement and 29 counts of falsifying accounts, according to State Police.

Parker's arrest came after a three-month investigation, stemming from suspicious activities.

She was arraigned in Gilmer County Magistrate Court and was released on bond.

Officials did not release the amount of money taken.
