Jerry B. Perrine, 56 - Elizabeth

Jerry B. Perrine, 56 of Elizabeth, West Virginia, passed away Thursday January 20, 2011 at the Camden Clark Hospital after a brief battle with cancer.

He was born February 5, 1954 in Parkersburg, WV to Mary Carr Perrine and the late Shirley Perrine.

Jerry graduated from Wirt County High School in 1972. He retired from the O. Ames plant after 32 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, ATV- four wheeling, gardening and wood working.

He is survived by his mother of Newark WV, with whom he lived, and was his caregiver; his loving wife of five years, Loretta Tichnell Perrine; daughter, Jessica Tooker (Steve) of Chula Vista CA; son, Jeremy Perrine (Kristen) of Houston TX, daughter, Jayme Shanks( Steven) of Kansas City MO, son, Joe Perrine (Cassie Aliff) of Parkersburg WV; stepdaughter, Monica McDonald (Jake Meadows) of Parkersburg; seven grandchildren, Tiffany and Andrew Tooker, Phoebe McDonald, Micaiah Shanks, Braden Aliff, Emma, and Levi Blaine Perrine.

Also surviving are brothers and sisters, Berkley (Marilyn) Perrine, of Whipple OH, Barbara (Glen) Goff of Newark WV, Berniece (ED) Bohner of Newark OH, Brenda (Steve) Lewis of Newark WV, Bruce Perrine of Redhouse WV, Susan of Pickaway WV; sister-in-law, Phyllis Perrine of Cottageville WV; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by infant brother, Brooks Lee, infant sister, Beatrice Lynn, and brother, William Earl Perrine.

Services will be at the Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth on Monday January 24th at 10:00 a.m. With visitation Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will be at the Houston Carr Cemetery of Belfont in Braxton County, West Virginia.
