ADULT BOOK STORE HEIST - Wood County authorities are searching for two men who robbed the Pioneer Adult Bookstore near I-77.

The Wood County Sheriff's Office say two white males walked into the store with a gun and demanded money and other valuables.

Police said the footprints in the snow gave them a lead in the case and they are currently tracking the suspects.

WOOD STABBINGS - A Wood County teen was allegedly stabbed by another 17-year-old at a McDonald's restaurant.

Police Chief Joe Martin said a teen from Mineral Wells was with a few friends at McDonald's when a Vienna teen, who was with a group, said something about girls in another group.

The Mineral Wells teen allegedly stabbed the Vienna teen with a knife in his lower hip area on his backside and the teen accidentally cut himself in the process.

The injuries were not life threatening, both were treated at a Parkersburg hospital.

The case will be referred to the Wood County Prosecutor's Office with recommendation for prosecution in juvenile court.
