State Police went to Duskcamp Road after Robert Cottrill threatened his mom with a gun.

Following the incident Cottrill fled and was caught on a nearby road.

He is charged with wanton endangerment involving a firearm and remains in the Central Regional Jail. Bail is $5,000.

State Police and the Gilmer County Sheriff's Department responded.
