Alice F. Brisendine, 72 - Walton

Alice F. Brisendine, 72, of Walton, West Virginia, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 28, 2010 at the Hubbard Hospice House.

She was born October 11, 1938 at Charleston, a daughter of the late Fred and Opal Carney Harper.

Alice was a Christian and a member of the Mt. Welcome Church, where she was secretary.

Survivors include her loving husband of 53 years, Charles E. Brisendine; son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Theresa Brisendine; two grandchildren, Rebecca and her husband, John Starcher, and Chad Brisendine; two great grandchildren, Kamryn and Koltyn Starcher; all of Walton.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, Jan 1, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Brisendine Cemetery, Ambler Ridge, Walton, with the Rev. Roy Russell and the Rev. Jerry Malona officiating. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to CAMC Cancer Center Foundation, 3412 Staunton Ave., Charleston, WV 25304.
