THREE DEAD IN RALEIGH - Police in Raleigh County say a man shot his wife and son before killing himself, Thursday.

Deputies with the Raleigh County Sheriff's Office say 64-year-old Joseph Tyrone Fleming was the gunman.

A family member found the bodies of his 63-year-old wife Kathleen and 40-year-old son Joseph Troy, who lived with them.

Cory Cox, a neighbor, said "Tyrone put Troy in the bathtub and killed him. I guess Kathy heard the pop and came looking. He shot his wife. And then, his five-year-old grandson was there the whole time. he kept sending him from room to room, telling him to go play here and go play there."

Joseph Tyrone was a decorated Vietnam War veteran.

HARRISON MAN SHOT BY POLICEMAN DURING DOMESTIC SQUABBLE - The Harrison County Sheriff's Department is investigating a shooting that happened in Lumberport Saturday.

A Lumberport police officer went to a house to investigate a domestic violence call and the man inside the house shot at the officer with a rifle, but missed.

Sheriff's department officials say the officer then returned fire, shooting the man in the stairway of the house.

"I believe there were four people in the house when it happened, and we're taking statements and continuing our investigation," said Harrison County Sheriff Albert Marano.

The suspect was taken by helicopter to Ruby Memorial Hospital. There is no report on his condition.
