Calhoun Middle School Wrestlers traveled to Mason County on Saturday for the Wahama tournament held at Wahama High School.
The team placed 3rd out of 10 teams. Individual results were: 78lbs John Hart 3-1 2nd place; 84lbs Houstin McCune 4-0 1st; 90lbs Allen Metheney 4-0 1st place; 102lbs Devon McKown 1-2; 110lbs Casey Ritchie 4-0 1st place; 116lbs Cole Ritchie 4-0 1st place; 123lbs Johnny Taylor 3-1 2nd place; 128lbs Chris Goad 2-2 3rd place; 135lbs Cole Boatright 0-3; 145lbs Seth Moore 1-2; 190lbs Quentin Griffin 2-2 3rd place.
Also wrestling Kenny Wolf 0-3, Brandon Tallhammer 1-2, Conner Ritchie 1-2. Houstin McCune, Casey Ritchie, and Cole Ritchie pinned all of their opponents.
