CMS WRESTLERS PLACES 3RD IN WAHAMA TOURNAMENT

Houstin McCune Submitted by Cristina McCune Calhoun Middle School Wrestlers traveled to Mason County on Saturday for the Wahama tournament held at Wahama High School. The team placed 3rd out of 10 teams. Individual results were: 78lbs John Hart 3-1 2nd place; 84lbs Houstin McCune 4-0 1st; 90lbs Allen Metheney 4-0 1st place; 102lbs Devon McKown 1-2; 110lbs Casey Ritchie 4-0 1st place; 116lbs Cole Ritchie 4-0 1st place; 123lbs Johnny Taylor 3-1 2nd place; 128lbs Chris Goad 2-2 3rd place; 135lbs Cole Boatright 0-3; 145lbs Seth Moore 1-2; 190lbs Quentin Griffin 2-2 3rd place. Also wrestling Kenny Wolf 0-3, Brandon Tallhammer 1-2, Conner Ritchie 1-2. Houstin McCune, Casey Ritchie, and Cole Ritchie pinned all of their opponents. Allen Metheney
