CAR WRECKS ON ICY ALTIZER RD. PLUNGING TOWARD RIVER

There was only one accident reported to 911 yesterday following a snow storm that swept across the area. A vehicle lost control on Altizer Rd. at 5 p.m. Monday, sliding over the embankment near the West Fork River. Reports indicate that at least one person was taken to Minnie Hamilton Health System for evaluation. Conditions on snow-covered Altizer Rd. were described as icy and slippery following Sunday night's storm. State Police are investigating the accident, which reportedly involved a driver and passenger. The Arnoldsburg VFD and county EMS responded to the scene.
