TRIPPETT HIRED AS POOL MANAGER - Lifeguard, First Aid And CPR Courses Offered

Former Grantsville Mayor Dave Trippett has been hired by Mayor Gary Knight to be the manager of Grantsville's swimming pool. Trippett has several years experience at the job, filling the slot for several years. Trippett says he will be offering lifeguard courses during May at the pool, including first aid and CPR. He says class sizes are limited, and interested parties should call 354-6191 for details. The courses will be taught by an American Red Cross instructor. "We are currently putting a new roof on the main building and stripping the pool for a new coat of paint," said Trippett. "We're getting everything ready for a great pool season," he said.
