PROBABLE CAUSE HEARING FOR CALHOUN BANK ROBBER

(11/30/2010)
Accused Calhoun bank robber Richard Dewayne Vance, 22, of Orma will make a first appearance in Calhoun Magistrate Court this morning at 10 a.m.

The appearance before magistrate Rick Postalwait will determine probable cause whether to move the case forward in Calhoun Circuit Court.

Vance (pictured left) is facing two charges, one for robbery in the first degree for the robbery of Calhoun Banks at Arnoldsburg, and a second charge of grand larceny for the theft of an ATV used in the robbery.

Vance was extradited from Texas by Roane County authorities for a violation of his probation related to larceny charges in Spencer.

He is being held in Central Regional Jail.
