Taylor Freeland won the Miss Mid-Continent Most Beautiful modeling event in the 15-23 age category, November 13th at the annual "Fall Twirling Classic" baton competition in Ellenboro, WV.

The event is Drum Majorettes of America's third most important competition held throughout the year.

Taylor also won the Fall Classic Princess Title (a combination of gown modeling, fancy strutting, and one baton intermediate twirling) in the 15-23 age category. Taylor won the Fall Classic Sweetheart beginner title last year at the same place. She then went on to win the Beginner Title of the Mini Nationals in Tennessee (second most important event of DMA competition) in January, and then in July she won the big one in the beginner division of DMA Nationals, held in North Carolina. This big win caused her to move up to intermediate.

Fifteen year old Taylor of Pinch, WV is a sophomore at Capital High School. Her proud parents are Bill and Misty Freeland and her sister is Olivia.

Taylor is coached by Lorraine Bailey of Orma, who continues producing champions from West Virginia. She is extremely proud of Taylor. Lorraine is a teacher and judge for NBTA, DMA, TU, and AAU (Jr. Olympics).
