Heartwood in the Hills welcomes the general public to attend the 18th Annual December Celebration - an evening of dance, music, masks and artwork featuring the students of Heartwood's Fall 2010 Program.

The December Celebration will be held tonight beginning at 7 p.m. at Heartwood, located on Lovada Road just north of Grantsville on Route 16. There will be an open dress rehearsal on Friday, Dec. 10, also at 7 p.m. The open dress rehearsal will be an abbreviated show.

Special guest for the December Celebration will be Ilene Evans of "Voices from the Earth" who will join Heartwood's Dance Company, surprise guests and community actors to present "The Great Blueness" - a wonderful children's story of diversity.

Also special for this Celebration will be the "Dance For Peig", a beautiful dance choreographed by Heartwood Artistic Director Jude Binder to "Waltz of the Flowers" which will be performed by Heartwood's Dance Company.
