Wanda G. Moyers Luzader, 77 - Glenville

Wanda G. Moyers Luzader age 77 of Howard St. Glenville, West Virginia, departed this life quietly and peacefully at 10:51 a.m., Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born November 18, 1932 at Cedarville, Gilmer County a daughter of the late Homer L. and Maggie Collins Moyers.

A fixture in Glenville you could usually find Wanda on the park bench in front of the General Store on N. Court Street soaking up the local culture and offering her opinions. She served Gilmer County for over sixteen years as assistant Gilmer Co. jailer and dispatcher with her sister, Pedro. Wanda was baptized and a member of the Glenville First Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and anyone who knew her knows she not only took care of her family but also her extended one.

Her husband of 59 years Thomas J. "Tommy J" Luzader who she married December 9, 1951 survives at their Howard St. home. She is also survived by one sister and one brother, Vonda "Pedro" Montgomery of Glenville and Larry Moyers and wife Gloria of Massillon Ohio.

Having no children of her own, she considered the following nieces and nephews as her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, Pam Cutlip and husband Sam, Larry Frederick, and Chrissy Junkins all of Glenville, Jeff Montgomery and wife Patty of Sand Fork, Kayla and Patrick Montgomery, Christopher Junkins and Keighn Chewning; and several other nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents Wanda was preceded in death by 4 sisters and one brother, Vera Adams, Madaline Beam, Elane Hoover, Erie Heater and Gary Moyers.

Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, November 18, 2010 (her birthday) at Glenville First Baptist Church with Rev. Kenny Fisher officiating. Friends may call at the church from 6-7 p.m.
