Lawrence "Eddie" Conley, 48 - Spencer

Lawrence "Eddie" Conley, 48, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2010, at home after a battle with cancer. He was born April 7, 1962 in Roane County, the son of Richard B. Conley of Spencer and Alice I. Potts Conley of Spencer. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Crystal Tawney of Newton and Misty Conley of St. Albans; two sons, Dustin Conley of Charleston and Shaun Tawney of Newton; five grandchildren; two brothers, Leonard B. Conley and his fiancé, Tracy Smith of Spencer, Richard "Bubba" Conley and his wife, Alisha of Spencer; sister, Kathy Conley of Grand Rapids, MI; step brother, Robert McKenzie of Spencer. Eddie was preceded in death by a brother, Rick Conley, (also from cancer.) He was employed by S.W. Rodgers of Front Royal, VA, as a supervisor for over 15 years. A funeral service will be held Thursday, November 4 at 1:30 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Pastor Darin Cale officiating. Burial will be in the Clover Cemetery, Clover.
