CHILI COOK-OFF & PIE CONTEST WINNERS ANNOUNCED

Roydice Williams and Shane Steigleder tied for first place in a men's chili cook-off, held Sunday at the Brooksville Baptist Church, Family Life Center. Chris Hall took the second place spot. Chili was judged on aroma, consistency, color, taste and aftertaste. Not pictured is Roydice Williams who tied for 1st place In the fruit pie division of the women's contest, Donna Cain took first place for her cherry pie; Gloria Stevens won second place with raisin pie; and Sophia Steigleder and Tami Allen tied for 3rd place with apple pies. Winners received baskets filled with an array of gifts. All chili and pie entries were available to eat by those attending the event after judging was complete.
