A four-wheeler stolen on the Husk Ridge on October 12 near Hur has been recovered with an Arnoldsburg man being arrested.

State Police say they received an anonymous tip about the location of the ATV on Honeysuckle Road, and Trooper J. E. Kincaid obtained a search warrant for the property, according to a criminal complaint.

Bernard Coon, Jr. said it was the second time the ATV had been stolen.

Trooper Kincaid recovered the ATV and charged Brian Burrows, 29, with a felony charge of conspiring to commit the theft, with an arrest warrant yet to be served on another individual reportedly involved in the theft.

An Arnoldsburg man has been placed on home confinement in Calhoun County by Roane Magistrate Russell Goodwin after pleading no contest to transferring stolen property.

Nineteen year old, Allen Keith Carpenter's, 90 day jail sentence was suspended and he was placed on home confinement for 90 days, after paying costs for unlawfully receiving from another person a Stihl chain saw valued by victim Jeff Yoak at $719.

According to the criminal complaint, the chainsaw was discovered at Duck's Pawn Shop in Spencer.

Carpenter was arrested by Sgt. O. S. Starsick of the WV State Police in Grantsville.
