UPDATE: Following the arrest of five Glenville State College football players on marijuana charges, head football coach Alan Fiddler says they have been suspended from playing.

"All players involved have been suspended indefinitely. None of the players have been with the team since the incident occurred and none have played in any games this season." Fiddler said.

Following a DUI arrest of Glenville State football coach Dave McEntire in August, Fiddler said, "Disciplinary action has been taken within the football program. He is coaching."

GLENVILLE FOOTBALL PLAYERS ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES

Following the reported DUI arrest of Glenville State College football coach Dave McEntire in August, five GSC football players were arrested on marijuana charges on September 30.

The Glenville Democrat/Pathfinder reported that Gilmer Sheriff's deputies smelled marijuana smoke while leaving an annex of the Gilmer County courthouse which led to the arrests.

Glenville College has not commented regarding the arrests.
