HEETER CONSTRUCTION GETS $6 MIL FOR LOGAN COUNTY PROJECT

The Army Corps of Engineers, Huntington district, has broken its' record for contract awards to small businesses.

The district has awarded $151 million in contracts during 2010.

Heeter Construction of Spencer was awarded almost $6 million for a channel widening job at Island Creek in Logan County.

A construction firm was awarded $48.5 million of small business dollars for the rehab of Bluestone Dam.
