Charlotte Ilene Nichols Cain McDonald, 57

Charlotte Ilene Nichols Cain McDonald, 57, passed away 6:30 a.m. Sept. 30, 2010, at a hospital in Van Buren, Ark.

She was a homemaker, loved going to her local Baptist Church, she enjoyed arrowhead hunting, collecting roosters, quilting, most of all she enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, working in her vegetable garden and taking care of her chickens and going to the casino.

She is survived by her loving husband, Eric McDonald of Cedarville, Ark.; two daughters, Samantha Cain Church and Michelle Cain Rusher and husband Elmer Rusher; as well as Samantha's fiance' James Boyce, her mother Lucy Oval Nichols; four sisters; three brothers; her loving dog Jackson; nine grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; several adopted grandchildren-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Oral Nichols; late husband Jimmy Cain; two sons, Darrian and Junior Cain; sister Sharon Nichols; and grandson Christian Levi Church.

Will meet at Old Mt. Zion Park at 2 p.m. Wednesday for a memorial service at her cemetery followed by a covered dish gathering.
