Kathy Ann Howell, 55 - Grantsville

Kathy Ann Howell, 55, of Grantsville, West Virginia, went to Heaven to be with our Lord October 7, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital in Charleston following a long illness. She was born in Calhoun County, February 28, 1955, a daughter of the late Dallas Freed and Hazel Richards Gribble. She worked at Kellwood Company in Spencer WV and later became a Home Health care provider. She was a Christian and attended church until unable to do so. She was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister, daughter and friend to all who were blessed to have known her. She will be missed more than words can express. In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband, Mark Howell; daughter, Stacey Echard Minor and son-in-law Dana Minor of Harrisville WV; son, Eric Echard of Grantsville; brothers, Pete (Barb) Freed and Steve (Julie) Gribble all of Grantsville, and Tom (Kandy) Freed of Looneyville WV; one sister, Debbie (Tom) Bush of Grantsville; two grandchildren, Emmanuel Echard and Ashley Minor. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, October 10 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville with Rev. Rob Wagoner officiating. Interment will be in the Hunt Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
