COMMISSION WILL DISCUSS REIMBURSEMENT OF SPECIAL ELECTION

The Calhoun Commission will meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday.

The commission will review the costs of the August special election at $15,645, seeking reimbursement for the costs from the State of West Virginia.

The commission will review the costs of the regional jail bill, currently rising above amounts budgeted.

The budget crisis and how to deal with it is a continuing docket item to prevent the county from defaulting.

The commissioners will participate in a test of the voting machines for early voters for the November election.
