The distressed dog that wandered up and down the road between Grantsville Foodland and Baker's Mart for several weeks, to be assisted by employees of Baker's and others in the area, has been returned to his rightful owner.

Rosie got a lot of attention around the gas pumps, the animal longingly approaching each customer, apparently wanting its owner.

The Minnora resident said Rosie got out of his vehicle in Grantsville several weeks ago and disappeared, after which the owner had to leave the area. Returning to Calhoun, the story and picture on The Herald led him back to Grantsville to pick-up his long-lost best friend.
