Rachel Peck, 62, of Maysel, West Virginia, died Saturday, September 25, 2010 at home. She was born February 24, 1948 at White Sulphur Springs, a daughter of the late Hyman and Novella Dean Branard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Harley Peck; and one son, Bill Peck. She was a homemaker and a Christian. Survivors include her children, Hyman Peck of Indore, Johnny Peck of Amma, Ann Peck of Enon, Carolyn Peck of Ivydale and Robert Lewis Peck of Campbells Creek; brothers, Junior Branard of Dixie and Eddie Branard of Summersville; sisters, Jo Shaffer of Ovapa, Sue Pritt and Wilma Johnson both of Summersville; 13 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, September 30 at 2:00 p.m. in the Perryville Baptist Church, Cinco, with Rev. Curtis Mack officiating. Burial will be in the Branard Cemetery, Blount.
