Ready to tame the gator

Wrestling the varmint to the ground

It was the power of auto-suggestion, a stage presentation of hypnosis by C. J. Johnson, delivered last night at Calhoun Middle/High School's auditorium. The production was billed as "Pure Hypnosis." A number of students participated in the demonstration, which brought cheers and laughs from the audience.

The event was sponsored by the HSTA club.

The demonstration had participants wrestling an alligator and becoming famous rock stars, in addition to responding to numerous suggestions, followed by responses.

Johnson told the audience most people can be hypnotized, at least those who want to be.
