Irene G. Siers-Parsons, 78 - Big Bend

Irene G. Siers-Parsons, 78, of Big Bend, West Virginia, departed out of this world unto the Father on September 11, 2010 at Minnie Hamilton Health System, Grantsville, WV. Born in Big Springs she was the daughter of the late James Ernest and Margaret McIntyre Metz. Surviving are her daughter, Martha (Harley) Harris; and son Terry Siers; grandchildren, Chief Warrant Officer Doy (Brenda) Harris, Deidra (Jim) McIntyre, and Chad Siers; great grandsons, Jeffery and Travis Ashley and Clayton and Wade McIntyre; stepson, Harold (Connie) Parsons and children; stepdaughter, Pat Gander (Tom) and children. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Doy M. Siers in 1997 and her second husband, Floyd Parsons in 2004. Irene always provided for her family. At her request there will not be a funeral. Graveside service was Tuesday evening September 14, 2010. Interment was in Siers Family Cemetery on Norman Ridge Rd. Big Bend.
