JUDGE EVANS ORDERS KNICELY TO JAIL - Makes Ruling In Anderson Case

(04/18/2002)
During this weeks Calhoun Circuit Court, Guy Denzil Knicely was brought before Judge Thomas Evans III for a hearing on a notice to revoke his alternative sentencing. Attorney Kevin Postalwait represented Knicely.

Court records said Knicely admitted he had violated the terms and conditions of his alternative sentencing. Judge Evans ordered Knicely to Central Regional Jail for 135 days.

Darius Anderson, also represented by Attorney Postalwait, asked for a ruling to quash felony offenses. Evans ruled the state can only use one of the prior DUI offenses. Conditions of Anderson's home confinement and bond are continued.
