DNR OFFERING FREE HUNTER'S EDUCATION CLASSES

The Division of Natural Resources will be giving free Hunter's Education Classes in Calhoun County at the Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center.

Class will be held on October 5, 7 and 8 from 6 to 9:30 p.m. each evening. Students are required to attend all three nights to complete the course and receive their card.

Class is completely free and open to anyone age 8 and older. Students are asked to pre-register by calling the District Headquarters in Parkersburg at 304-420-4550.

In addition to the Hunter's Education Class, students can take the course online. However, students will have to take a test administered by the Division of Natural Resources. This alternative testing will be offered on October 12th at 7:00 p.m. at the Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center.
