DNR OFFERING FREE HUNTER'S EDUCATION CLASSES

Submitted by Charles Stephens Natural Resources Police Officer Division of Natural Resources The Division of Natural Resources will be giving free Hunter's Education Classes in Calhoun County at the Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center. Class will be held on October 5, 7 and 8 from 6 to 9:30 p.m. each evening. Students are required to attend all three nights to complete the course and receive their card. Class is completely free and open to anyone age 8 and older. Students are asked to pre-register by calling the District Headquarters in Parkersburg at 304-420-4550. In addition to the Hunter's Education Class, students can take the course online. However, students will have to take a test administered by the Division of Natural Resources. This alternative testing will be offered on October 12th at 7:00 p.m. at the Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center. Any questions should be directed to the Parkersburg Office at 304-420-4550.
