FIRST DEER HUNTING SEASON SET FOR SEPTEMBER - Calhoun Included

West Virginia is gearing up for the first 2010 deer hunting season. Calhoun is included. The Division of Natural Resources says the early archery season runs Sept. 13 through 18 in several counties. That's followed by early muzzleloader season from Sept. 20 to 25. The agency says hunters need to be prepared to deal with hot weather if they kill an animal, cooloing and processing carcass quickly.
