ARTICLES FROM THE DUNGEON - Calhoun's Fascinating History And Tales

HERALD'S MASSIVE COLLECTION OF STORIES AND PHOTOS

It seems the interest in history and mountain tales has been waning for several years.

That has not stopped our curiosity or efforts in writing, editing, collecting and publishing Calhoun history and tales, including lots of early photographs.

We have barely skimmed the surface, and we hope to live long enough to do more.

Some Herald readers have said it has been a long time since they took the time to read articles under PEOPLE, HUMOR AND HISTORY or browse through Norma Knotts Shaffer's PHOTO OF THE DAY.

During our 2010 fundraiser, we have taken a few articles from the dungeon to remind readers of the thousands on the back pages of the Herald.

Not only special features, but there's daily news articles in the ARCHIVES going back to 2001. Unfortunately, the early stuff is not on-line.

We would hope you take time to enjoy the tales, recollections, photographs and archives, while we are reminding all our readers we really need your financial support now to keep the Herald going for another year.
