SPENCER COUNCIL WILL PROCESS PROPERTY ISSUES - Spencer State Hospital Holdings

The Spencer City Council will hold a special session Tuesday, April 16 at 12 noon, according to Mayor Terry Williams. In addition to an issue to "lay a levy," the council will consider authorizing the Mayor to execute all agreements, documents and conveyances or necessary documents to release an interest the City of Spencer may have in that portion of the Spencer State Hospital campus designated as Parcel B. The Council will also consider a second reading on an ordinance to transfer real property situate to the state hospital campus from the City of Spencer to the Spencer Development Authority and to grant under Spencer Development Authority easements over adjacent property from the City of Spencer.
